This page explains who writes the material published on smartflowfutures.net, how it is produced and checked, and what commercial relationships exist behind it. It is not a legal document. It is a statement of how this Site works, so that you can judge the content on the record rather than on assertion.

Who Writes This Site

All content on Smart Order Flow Trading is written and edited by Chriss Rakoot. There is no anonymous content team, no rotating pool of freelancers, and no ghostwritten filler published under a generic house byline.

Chriss Rakoot is an independent practitioner writing about the methods he studies and uses: order flow reading and Smart Money Concepts applied to futures markets. He is not a registered investment adviser, not a registered Commodity Trading Advisor with the CFTC, and not an NFA member. He does not manage money for anyone, and this Site sells nothing.

The Site is published by NET STUDIO LLC, 1501 South Greeley Hwy, Ste C #1386, Cheyenne, WY 82007, United States. Editorial responsibility rests with the author named above, not with the publisher.

How Content Is Produced

Articles start from a specific question a trader would actually ask, not from a keyword target. The working sequence is consistent:

• The concept is defined precisely, in the vocabulary that market participants use, with the ambiguities named rather than smoothed over.
• The mechanism is explained before any application: what is happening in the order book or in the auction, and why it matters.
• Examples are drawn from real price action on liquid futures contracts, annotated so that the reasoning can be followed step by step.
• The failure modes are stated. Where a concept works poorly, is commonly misapplied, or depends on conditions that are frequently absent, that is written into the article rather than left out.

Every draft is read again end to end before publication, with attention to whether a reader could act on a sentence and be misled by it. Passages that overstate reliability, imply an edge that has not been demonstrated, or read as a trade recommendation are cut.

How Concepts Are Checked

Order flow and Smart Money Concepts are a field with a large amount of confident, unverified claim-making. Our position is that a claim is worth publishing only if it survives contact with the market.

• Concepts are compared against observed price and volume behavior on real charts, across multiple sessions and market conditions, rather than against a single illustrative example.
• Terminology is checked against how the underlying market mechanism actually functions, including contract specifications, session structure, and the way orders are matched, rather than against how a term circulates on social media.
• Where a widely repeated idea does not hold up, or holds up only under narrow conditions, the article says so.
• Where something is uncertain, contested, or based on the author’s own interpretation rather than on established market structure, it is labeled as such in the text.

We do not publish backtest statistics, win rates, or performance figures as evidence for a method. Any historical illustration on this Site is exactly that: an illustration, subject to the limitations set out on our Risk Disclaimer page.

Updates and Dating

Every article carries a visible publication date, and a separate update date once it has been revised.

• The update date reflects the last time the article was actually changed, including technical corrections such as repairing a broken link. It is not a marketing signal and we do not touch it to make a page look fresh.
• Substantive revisions, meaning a change to what an article claims or recommends, are described in the article itself where the change matters to a returning reader.
• Corrections of factual errors are made promptly and are not disguised as routine edits.
• Older material that no longer reflects current market structure is either revised or marked, rather than quietly left in place to accumulate search traffic.

One site-wide exception is worth naming: on September 9, 2026 a technical pass repaired a broken “next article” link on most lessons. That pass changed the update date on those pages without changing a word of their content.

Sponsorship, Advertising, and Affiliate Links

As of the date at the top of this page, this Site carries no sponsored content and has no paid partnerships. No broker, platform, data vendor, prop firm, or educator has paid, or provided any consideration, to be mentioned, reviewed, recommended, or omitted here.

No third party has editorial influence over what is published. Where a tool, broker, or platform is named, it is because it is relevant to the explanation.

If that ever changes, the disclosure will be explicit and immediate:

• Any affiliate link will be identified as an affiliate link, at the point of the link and near the top of the article that contains it.
• Any sponsored or paid placement will be labeled as such, clearly and before the content it applies to.
• Any commercial relationship with a company discussed on the Site will be disclosed in the relevant article.
• This page will be updated to reflect the change, with a new update date.

We will not publish a paid recommendation dressed as an independent one.

Reporting an Error

If you find a factual error, a broken explanation, an outdated contract specification, or a passage that could reasonably mislead a reader, write to contact@smartflowfutures.net.

Please include the page address and, where possible, the specific sentence in question. Reports are reviewed by the author. Where a correction is warranted, the article is amended and its update date changed. Where we disagree, we will say so and explain why. Corrections are made regardless of who reports them.

Use of Writing Assistance Tools

We take a direct position on this rather than leaving it implied. Software tools, including AI writing assistants, may be used in the production process for supporting tasks: drafting scaffolding, restructuring an outline, tightening prose, checking spelling and grammar, and improving clarity for readers who are not native English speakers.

The limits are firm:

• The subject-matter judgment, the market interpretation, and the decision about what is true are the author’s, not a tool’s.
• No article is published without being read and approved line by line by Chriss Rakoot.
• Nothing generated by a tool is published as fact until it has been verified against the market behavior or the contract documentation it describes.
• Fabricated examples, invented statistics, and unverifiable claims are removed, whatever their source.

A tool can help a sentence read better. It cannot be the reason a claim appears on this Site.
